One of the worst places I've ever lived.

I lived at Hall Place for 1 horrible year. The apartments are small and cramped. Noise from neighboring units is transmitted through the walls and floors very well. You can sit in the living room and hear the neighbors talking as if they were on your couch with you. Elevators constantly not working properly, a problem if you live on the 7th floor and have a load of groceries. Plumbing bad, hot water goes out unexpectedly. Parking is a joke, not enough of it, and the covered parking area is not recommended as it is a good place for theives to break into your car without being seen, that happened 4 times to other residents while I was there. Crime is a problem, recently a prostitution ring that was run out of an apartment was broken up. Equity Residential Properties is one of the worst management companies going. bad service, bad attitudes and unbeliveable fees to move out early when you find you can't take it anymore. And their higher priced Rosecliff complex further down Willard St is eqally as bad. It is also poorly constructed (of wood) and crime noise, and bad management prevails there as well.
