Nice but expensive

The builing is split in half, with and L-shape on both sides, and the lobby in the middle. One side is 3 floors, and the other is 4. The lobby is clean, with a computer room with high-speed internet, free newspapers, a library and fitness center. there's also a TV room, game room, and billiards room, but the pool table and cues have taken a beating from the kids that live here. There's a large function hall that you can reserve for parties, and a complientary shuttle that drops you off at Quincy Center T station at 7 and 7:30, and has pick-up at 6 and 6:30. (I've never used it because I have a car). There's a Wal-mart and Roche Bros. grocery and Kam-Man Chinese grocery stores within walking distance (5-10 min).
My biggest complaint would be the lack of a swimming pool, and there are times when parking is an issue. I've never been without a space, but sometimes I have to park all the way on the other side of the building from my apartment. There's an underground garage, but that costs an extra $50-100 depending on the deal you get when you sign the lease.
We got a deal on the apartment, $1400 instead of $1800 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. It has a nice porch, and the whole building is brand new. We do have some problems with the central heat/air conditioning (it's never worked correctly) but overall, it's a nice building
