Unforgettable

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I can't understand who wouldn't want to live here. I lived her for a year before going away to law school and I was heartbroken when I left. The grounds were beautiful. I attended their in-house gym regularly and often ran around the parking area instead because it was so nice. During the fall and winter there was always the scent of someone's wood burning fireplace in the air, and I used mine all the time. It was so cozy.
The people were incredibly friendly, I had my purse stolen on the train and a couple from my building brought me into their apartment, let me call the police, offered to drive me to South Boston to get my spare set of keys and then offered me dinner. I can't thank them enough. Also during the major snowstorms last year, there was always a group of men and women who would help cars that got stuck in the driveway, I called them push-parties. They plowed the parking area through the night, and I never had a problem parking even during/after the snowstorms.
The pool was excellent I met so many neighbors there, and the management staff were so friendly. Right after I moved in I noticed the linoleum in the kitchen was a little yellowed in high traffic areas. I didn't call to complain, but I mentioned it in passing to one of the staffers when I was at the pool. By the time I got back to my apartment that evening, I had new linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom.
When I finish school, I plan on looking into renting there again. It was the perfect apartment.
