Not the ghetto, but not that great

I have been in this complex for nearly 3 years now and overall, it has not been great, but it has not been terrible. The management pretty much stinks and don't care or respond to your maintenance requests until you pester them several times. The people in the front office are nice but the maintenance guys, for the most part, aren't very helpful.
Apartment insulation is poor and this causes very high electric bills in the winter.
The gym is better than most other apartments and they have a decent pool and tennis courts. I have stayed here because this is the cheapest place to rent from for me. That is the only reason.
Part of it, is luck of the draw. I have a decent apartment but mine is not renovated and has not been for years. Those ones that have new carpet and renovations are very nice. If possible, try to see the actual place where you will be renting from. Trust me when I say that their "sample" 1 and 2 bedrooms do NOT accurately reflect the standard of their average apartment.
