We've lived here since 1998 and had friends living in the complex since 1993. Our apartment has a great kitchen with everything, huge bathroom, enormous closets, and even greater - we can't hear anyone else around us. Seems like the whole building is empty it's so quiet.
Overall you get a great deal for your money - parking, large apartments, laundry in every building, fitness center, pool, tennis courts...
The grounds are kept very well - flowers in the spring/summer, snow/ice in winter is dealt with quickly.
The property manager is terrific and flexible. Office hours on the weekends are helpful if you need to pick up a delivery.

There are a few things that could be better:
-the fitness center was very dirty the last few times I was there and didn't have much water or cups for the cooler
-maintenance issues: the few things we've needed were usually handled ok, but...
-whoever answers the phone at the office to take the request had no idea what I was talking about and wasn't that friendly/helpful
- I had no idea if maintenance had even been in our apartment, they don't leave any notes to say the work had been done.

-the windows in the apartments are dirty and getting worse - other places periodically clean the outside of windows b/c tenants can't climb up to the third floor to do it themselves
-the community is on a steep hill which can be verrry scary when it's icy. usually they keep it sanded/salted but there are some slippery spots
-the dryer in our building keeps dying and it would be great if they replaced it.

No one's perfect but in general these are all of the things I could think of that could be improved - a very short list for the past 5 years.
Don't believe all the the bad stuff you read in the other reviews. The sad truth is that whatever happens in your apartment is not the company's fault, that's why you get apartment insurance. Get over it. Any other management company will tell you the same thing, Pres. Estates are not "bad people". I would reccommend this place to anyone.
