I looked at this place 6 months ago and got bad vibes. In case anyone is on the fence, the recent fire of suspicious origins should be enough...
Nice looking place, but I was put off by some people sitting out front smoking. Interesting to read about the break-ins. I've rented enough apts that I now look at them very carefully (come back at night) and trust my intuition. Leasing agent looked cheap and trashy.
