Beautiful amenities, a few issues, but overall a great place to live

My fiance and I moved in a few months ago and we've loved it for the most part. The units themselves are gorgeous, essentially condo quality, with hardwood floors, brand new appliances (including a washer and dryer in unit), and a very spacious bathroom. There's plenty of storage and most units have decent views as well. The one thing that really can't be beat is the location. The building is smack in the middle of Quincy Center and right across the street from the red line but set back from the road far enough that external noise isn't a problem (the windows are fairly soundproof). It's absolutely ideal if you're commuting into the city.

We haven't had to deal with management very much, but when we have they have been very friendly and accommodating. The common areas of the building are small, but always clean and well-kept, as are the grounds around the premises.

We've come across only two major issues with living here: one being the internal noise level and the other being the parking conditions. Though we're very well insulated from external noise we do hear quite a bit from our upstairs neighbor. It seems like the units are fairly well soundproofed laterally, the hardwood floors cause a lot of echoing and do not act as a good buffer to our vertical neighbors. The building does have strict noise ordinances in place if a neighbor does become an issue but even with the noise from upstairs it's never been so bad that we've had to call management.

The biggest problem in my opinion is the parking. Spaces are assigned and the garage is absolutely tiny. Several "spaces" are simply unusable because of how they are positioned and if you happen to be assigned in one of these spaces you're better off risking leaving your car on the street. We have a very small car and it is still extremely difficult to maneuver around just to get into or out of the space. It becomes only a matter of time before you lose some paint to the narrow concrete entry and exitways.

Other than that it has been a wonderful stay thus far!
