I dont usually post anything online but this place is actually awesome. It is so hard to find a decent apartment these days. I moved here from Los Angeles and coming from new buildings and luxurious places I wanted a new building. I tried Cambridge but everything was old and too pricey. At Ten Faxon I paid $1700 for a one bedroom/one bath. 800 square/feet. Very nice staff and management, very professional. Maintenance was awesome, there were a few times I needed something fixed and the maintenance guy fixed it within a few hours. The apartment is nice itself, granite counter tops, nice appliances, new carper,wood floors. The walls are very thick!!! Ive had friends over late and weve stayed up til early in the morning....Ive asked my neighbors if theyve ever been bothered or waken up and they havent. I hardly hear my neighbors also. Only time I hear something is the people above me who have kids that run around occasionally. The windows are thick and you can hardly hear the noise outside. Parking is only $75/month for garage parking, they are small spots, but its convenient being in the basement of the building. I would stay in ten faxon as its a 2-5 minute walk to the red line, but I am changing jobs ouside of Boston. I recommend this apartment to anyone. You can definitely hear your neighbors and the walls are thin. I hear them through the shared AC ducts. You can hear when they watch TV, you can hear their alarm clock in the morning too. And the separations between the upstairs and downstairs are rather thin. You can definitely hear people walking like mammoths.

i live in 10 faxon and i've never ever heard other people through the walls.
