I'm out and not going back

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I lived there for 3 years, 2 years too long imho.
While the maintence staff is great. They do the best they can with what the are given. The office staff leave a bad feeling with me. They are only there from 10 - 5 and they would leave early on Friday's. AND when you would try to go see them, during the hours they state they should be there, more then often they weren't there. Thus making it hard to pick up packages, drop off rent etc.
Every year your rent will go up. But nothing can be seen being done to improve the area.
The apartment I was in had siding rot in the back. When asked when it would be fixed I was told they were looking into it. They were looking into it for over a year. It wouldn't surprise me if it was still all rotted.
The security of the area is also going down hill. More then once I've come home at 11pm to find a few cop cars on the property searching for someone.
The lower lot, closest to the school, there have been many cars vandalized.
The one nice thing about LP, it does have nice grounds. And a nice community feel.
Your apartment goes from the front of the building to the back. So nice and long. And only 6 apartments to each building, not counting the townhouses on the ends.
Hmm, I wonder if my ceiling got fixed yet. Or the sink. The whole time we lived there, the sink in the bathroom was broken. It was fixed 4 times and then I finally gave up and put the parts (drain stopper and other related bits) under the sink.
Last bit, if you are on the ground floor, make sure your bedroom window isn't near where the cars park. It is extremely annoying to have headlights beaming in your room after dark, and people walking right outside.
