Chestnut Farms has a lot of problems, so it?s hard to think of whereto begin. So, first off, I?ll start off with the fact that the apartment complex management is a huge problem in itself simply because of the fact that, simply put, once you sign that lease, their involvement with you ends. Any problem you have will be met with total indifference. In fact, they don?t even PRETEND to care about problems that arise. Your apartment got broken into' Well, sorry but the owner doesn?t want to pay for a security detail. Your internet service (which is huge selling point) hasn?t worked in weeks' Tough. Call our internet service provider. Your car has been buried by our plows' Deal with it. This is not an exaggeration. That is really how they act!
Chestnut Farms is overpriced (I pay over $1,300 for a 1BR). I can easily hear everything going on in the unit above me. The hallways seem constructed so as to maximize the echo effect. I can hear doors closing, people talking and other noises. There is no assigned parking so even though I?m a paying customer I have no more say in where I park than a visitor does.
I would recommend against leasing here, I sure won?t be renewing.
