I have lived here at Overlook Ridge for about 2 yrs now. It has its ups and downs. When I first moved it I thought it was a great place to be...nice, new, clean, etc. However I also had trouble with the roof leaking and had to call back about 3-4 times to finally get it fixed. They kept "fixing" it but not quite so. The construction definitely stinks. I work a rotating schedule and sleeping during the day can be difficult. I really dont hear much noise from my neighbors, but maybe they are very quiet. The living area size is decent, but the bedrooms could use a little more space. Bathrooms arent bad, but the shower curtains have both fallen down on me. In terms of the water not being hot you need to call maintanence and have them turn off the scald guard which they have on for people with children. Maintanence does usually respond quickly and you can submit things online, and there is someone on at night for emergencies. Security is average. You have to fill out a background check to get in here, and they have doors locked downstairs, but people always let others in, and where there's a will there's a way. The office is open for people who work mon-fri 9-5 but if your schedule differs it is tough to get down there if you need to. The rent has definitely increased over the past two years and I dont see it getting any better. And the construction isnt scheduled to be finished till 2012! Overall....I would try and find a different place to live. There are others around that are better overall.
