A moved into a brand new apartment a little over a year ago. Since then the diswasher, dryer and closet doors have all broke. The walls have cracks, the tiles in the shower have fallen off and the towel rack fell down. Other than that the cops are always here, my car has been broken into, there are assigned parking spots but no one cares and the front office doesn't do anything about it. People don't pick up there dog ---- and they let their dogs ---- in the hallways like it's their bathroom so it stinks. There's a wife beater 2 floors up from me I can hear all my neighbors having sex and there's drugs found on the premises just about everyday along with smashed beer bottles. Besides all that the utility bills are absolutely ridiculous, the front building doesn't have to pay for water but the back does, where's the fairness' I think they have a deal with the electrical company bc we are getting screwed. For example I went away for 3 weeks out of a month and my electric bill was still $150, more than the previous month when I was here! Not to mention the rent for this place is ridiculous, $1350 for a 700 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment. And on top of it all the fire alarm will randomly go off for hours and you would think that since the fire department is on the property they would get there quickly, no it still takes them 10-15 minutes.
Do not move here!

I echo the same sentiments. Fortunately I moved out last November and am extremely happy I did so.

I feel like I've been swindled. I found out that there are people paying less for a 2 bedroom than what I'm paying for a 1 bedroom. I realized they were double charging me for my water bill. It's a scam. When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Lesson learned. Too bad my lease isn't up until Janaury 2010
