Seriously, moving here was the worst decision I ever made in my entire life. It seemed cool at first with all these cool amenities... but the place is garbage. Our first day there, the A/C didnt work, and the garbage disposal didnt work. Apparently the guys who did the tile in the bathrooms decided to throw all the extra pieces of grout, tile, and screws down the garbage disposal, causing it to clog. FIRST DAY. We did not receive out first water/heat bill until our 5th month there, and they continued to pile up after that, after they told me 4 months previous, "oh it should be coming any day". The operations manager there is the biggest idiot I have ever met in my life. All sorts of little things ticked my roommmate and I off about this place the whole 15 months we were there... but here is the big one. When we got our final statement back after we moved out which was supposed to be our $750 security deposit... we had been informed that our rug was "damaged beyond repair" and they used our security deposit to pay for it, and charged us the balance which was $350... $1100 to replace a rug. For one thing, there was one tiny stain in the rug which should have been able to be professionally cleaned or taken out by oxy clean... this rug was not severely damaged at all. We went down to fight it, and the operations manager asked us if they said anything to us about the rug condition during the move out assesment.... we never got a move out assesment. No one came to us about ANYTHING. She bascially admitted to us that they didnt not follow procedures and that she would she if she could solve the dispute for us. A few days later she e-mailed us at 5:30pm on a Friday (right when she leaves) informing us there was nothing they could do. When I responded back saying we were angry and ready to take legal action... I got an out of office reply saying she was on vacation. That coward e-mailed us 2 min before her vacation so she wouldnt have to deal with us. She never got back to us and I recieved a bill in the mail a few weeks later from a credit collector. When I called to confront her about her ignoring us, I mentioned how she admitted they didnt follow procedure and she said "oh I never said that". They are a bunch of dirty liars. The management and staff at this place are the worst, all they try to do is suck more money out of you. We are going to take legal action on this and get what we deserve... but it is not worth the hassel.. dont even give these people your business, they are the worst ever. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
