I lived in several other communities in this area before moving into Alterra in January. It is by far the best apartment community I have lived in. They keep the property looking very nice and the management staff is great, very courteous and professional. I once dropped my keys down the trash chute accidentally, and they bent over backwards to get them back to me right away so I could get to work on time (just an example of their service). the amenities are great and if I have a maintenance issue, they are quick to respond. honestly, i've really never had a problem with this place...and that's unusual for apartment living.

It is a nice place but ith the bad economy they probably had to lower the standards for tenants because there are more and more loud/noisy tenants moving-in. Maintenance tries to take care of everything quickly. Management never calls back unless it is about renewing a lease but is friendly, helpful if you go to the office instead of calling or emailing. Very quick-bad construction is obvious, bad/thin paint jobs..all the handles on cupboards, drawers fall off (they used the wrong sized screws)and cheap sinks.
