I have lived at those apartments for almost 5 years now. There was a promotion running when we moved in, so we pretty much got a 2 bedroom for the price of 1 bedroom apt. Can't really complain there.
However, for anyone looking into getting a place there for the full price - think twice. The gym equipment doesn't work and dates back to 1980s. They only have a concierge(that they advertise) in half of the buildings(I guess in whichever ones that have most apts occupied at the moment). Elevators frequently break and until recently, the inspection stickers have been expired for 2 years.
The apartments themselves are pretty nice and have great layouts and good quality construction. Views are really good and being 5 minutes away from the MBTA Blue line stop makes a commute to Boston very easy. I'm sure that when those building were constructed in 1980s they were really nice, but the problem is that nothing has been done since, except for touch-up repairs. All the cabinets, countertops, bathrooms and appliances are ridiculously outdated. The whole building is like a black hole that leads to another dimension in which it's still 1985.
The buildings have been under the new management for few months but I haven't seen any improvements yet.

This review is pretty dead-on. Commute, view & layout are great, however, God forbid anything go wrong or you need anything.......... Then you have a problem. And, the gym equipment is old, broken and dirty. The pool is dirty and often closed. The "security guards" are mostly absent and when they are around not to be trusted anyway *shady characters). The responder is dead on as well the owner/manager is the most evil man you will ever have to deal with. All he cares about is the almighty $$$$ - You Mother can live with rodents and no oven but you better pay your rent or he WILL SUE YOU HE IS AN ATTORNEY BY TRADE_-_-_-BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
