When I moved to Rockland Place in or around 2004, it was not as updated as I would have hoped for but the staff made sure any maintenance requests where done in a timely manner. In 2007, the property was purchased and re-named to Spring Gate; I thought because of the changes and promises the new owners was making the place would be in much better shape. Well, it looked a hell of a lot better; but then the new breed of people started moving in. I lived in a building where for the first 2years it was so peaceful; then with all the changes we had a family move into the first floor with millions of kids running thru the building, others having drug fests in the back hallway; you could just image the other things I seen??????.
This placed is a good place to stay and save money (if you do not have kids) then go out and buy your own home and start a family. This community is not a good environment to raise young children in at this time. I hope that they can make the community a better place for all to live; some of the families are just making it and cannot save money to move?????? I heard there are lots of other things going on in the community that is over looked by management and the police in the area; which is appalling! I hope the atmosphere change like the look of the place has?????? for the better, not the worst.
