This place was horrible! I broke my lease because it was unbearable!
The place reeks of piss and chinese food.
The "security guards" don't really speak english and pretty much let anyone in- great, if you don't mind stalkers or druggies roaming around your halls.
Don't be misled by the name- this place is NOWHERE near back bay- its in the middle of Robury! On that note, its a hella ghetto area- I was followed once by a crazy guy on teh train. Speaking of the train , its on the slowest line ever- The E line. Yah, the T is right there but I usually had to wait 20 mins every time I wanted to get out of the ghetto and go into Boston!
Management is horrible- disorganized and they let the building go.
Which brings me to one of the scariest days of my life, As I was riding in the Elevator (upon move out) the middle elevator dropped about 5 stories, me and the guy in the elevator could hear the bungee cord catching us (This was from the 15th floor). We made it out alive, me crying, him okay, but it was honestly so scary.

Save your self trouble- DON't live here, its really expensive and right across the street from projects!

This posting is completely untrue, I lived there for a year and a half, just moved out. It was too expensive, but never a safety problem and its virtually impossible for the elevators to drop because of the braking system in the elevators. There is no "bungee" that catches you.

I have lived here since 2006 and have NO idea what this girl is talking about... The concierge does speak English, however they don't go out of their way to talk to you if you are rude to them. And although the building is across from Mission Main, there are never problems on the side of the street the building is on. The building is also NOT in the middle of Roxbury.... it's barely considered Roxbury, the zipcode just technically places it in "Roxbury Crossing" and if you step outside the front door you can see the Longwood Medical Stop and Mass Art (Not in "Roxbury". And yes the T isn't great but none of the lines are and you usually don't have to wait long unless you managed to just miss a train, and even then it isn't 20mins, and the 39 bus picks up right across the street and services Huntington Ave all the way to Copley.
