I lived here for 3 years, and it was 3 years longer than I should have stayed, but I loved the location. That being said, I can't think of any redeeming qualities about this building other than the location. The management team is absolutely horrendous. Not only are they inept, but they're rude and unprofessional to boot. Some of the doormen are polite, but some of them are downright aggressive and confrontational towards tenants and their guests.

Everything about this building is horrendous. The pool and gym that the building boasts are both in horrible states of disrepair. In the gym, there are 6 pieces of cardio equipment, about half of which are usually broken, then there's about 6 pieces of weight equipment, 1/2 of which is usually broken, and all the equipment is well worn and has seen better days. When the pool is open in the summer, it's always dirty, and the pool itself has cracks all over it. Most irratating is the fact that residents are not allowed to bring guests, and yet local kids break into the pool at 5 am and never get caught.

Also, the management doesn't plow the drive way at all during the winter, and is very negligent about clearing the walk ways when it snows, which can be very dangerous.

Putting in work order requests are a major inconvenience as the head of maintance is one of the staff members who's rude and aggressive towards residents. Also, if you get stuck with an older kitchen, these have the worst possible layout, and are ugly to boot. The bathrooms which have been rennovated were rennovated with some of the cheapest possible materials, and are already falling apart in several units. Furthermore, the tub spit out black sludge on several occassions, which management was never able to determine why, nor did they offer to help clean up after *their* system made a disgusting mess.

Please don't stay here, it's really not worth the money, and you're better off getting in apartment in mission hill or JP. Oh, I forgot to mention, usually about 1/2 of the washers and dryers are broken in the laundry room, but you don't find out until you've already put your laundry in and put money in the machine.
