High priced, spacious, crappy neighborhood, stinks!

I live in one of the Penthouse apartments for the past year. For $2700/mo (plus parking!) you would think wed be treated like royalty up here but, well, not a chance.
However, at the urging of management (05/15), I am amending this review slightly to reflect their response to my review.
1. One of the bathroom vents doesnt work, so the bathroom always stinks of mildew within a day, no matter how much cleaning you do.
2. My car was broken into in the outdoor parking lot ($115/mo to park there). Also, my insurance is astronomical (2x) compared to living in Cambridge.
3. Were threatened with eviction for having a party (although there was no damage, the party ended at 2 am, and no complaints from neighbors...). This was annoying, to say the least (also, we live in a Penthouse which means we only have 1 neighbor, who was out of town).
4. The electric bill was substantially more (2x) than was quoted when we moved in.
5. The elevators are slow, one or more is invariably broken or tied up with people moving out (annoying if you live on the upper floors, but not such a big deal if you can take the stairs).
6. The noise from helicopters landing on the nearby hospitals at all hours, plus sirens going in/out of the hospitals is endless ... however, if you live on the opposite side of the building, you may escape most of the noise from the hospitals and Huntington Ave.
I would still avoid this building unless I absolutely had to live here as I believe there are better values (particularly regarding location) to be had elsewhere in the city for the price (my share of the rent is $1115/mo, and I have 2 roommates).

Why would you expect to be treated better than everyone else who is also paying to live there? Even though your next door neighbor was out of town, the people below can hear you. As well as everyone with a window open if your guests used the balcony. Also, if you didn't inform concierge about the party and had more than 10 people, they would have a problem for security reasons, as well as if there were way more people in the apartment than there really should be. The electric bill is controlled by you basically... so if you had a lot of things plugged in or were wasteful then that would raise it. The noise from Huntington isn't a problem on the other side of the building, and I imagine the helicopter noise wouldn't be as bad if you weren't on the top floor. Also although your rent is $1115/month despite having two roommates let me remind you.... YOU'RE RENTING THE PENTHOUSE!
