The only people writing positive reviews are probably the college students from around the area (northeaster, mass college of art, wentworth, etc). Considering this place is packed with those kids and that they're responsible for most of the disturbances (parties and loud music at 3am, trash in the hallways, spilled beer in the elevators, overcrowded pool and gym, yelling from the balconies and in the hallways at 4am, etc.), it's no wonder they find this place peachy. Bottom line, this apartment is basically an extended dormitory for some inconsiderate kids living here under the pretense of getting an education.
For over $1500/month, one would expect cleaner, more modern, and overall a more "adult" environment. There's no reason to pay that much for this apartment unless you work or study in one of the longwood hospitals or schools.
To be fair, some pros: convenient and fairly priced parking (although my car was broken into before), swimming pool and gym on-site, convenient laundry room, somewhat nice management (jeff and mark are pretty cool), close to market, bank and T, spacious apartments
Cons: can be very noisy at any hour, elevators often broken or reserved, large rent hikes (125-150/year), inattentive and often absent concierge, most apartments old and dirtier than expected for the price, very small kitchens and bathrooms, very high auto insurance rates for the area, noisy, noisy, noisy
