STAY AWAY- Long list of complaints

Hawthorne Commons is a nightmare! When we moved here we were deceived. We were told that construction on the property was nearing completion. It turns out half of the property was not even started yet. We wake up every morning at 7am to blasting and heavy machinery roughly 100 yards from our windows. Everything in the apartment shakes and rattles. Construction in the building we are in has also been going on for over a month with drills, air hammers and compressors running all day. We are told it?s a ?ventilation project? It?s ridiculous. Residents are consulting lawyers etc.
The complaints go on and on. Parking is the poorest I have seen. Occasionally, we have to park on the street when the lot is full with guests. The city then threatens to tow. The trash from the construction site blows onto our cars and covers them with a thin layer of dirt.
Its not uncommon to have your trash picked through at the dumpster or to have the local neighbor hood kids (who walk through the site to get to the high school) key your car or drive their bikes into them.
Hawthorne commons does not believe in snowplows. The snow melts before it is plowed or shoveled. I would recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Maintenance here is absurd. It takes months to get simple problems handled.
Noise from other residents is horrible. The walls are paper-thin. Everybody complains about everybody.
I have dealt with the leasing office agents and the main office and neither are any help. The service here is the poorest it could be.
