Jefferson at Salem Station

i love this place From: starbabe684 Date posted: 2/3/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   salem mass has a lot to offer. i love how its not right in the downtown are but from the apts is a nice 5 min walk to wherever you need to go. the apartment is in walking distance (give or take 5 min!) from banks, shopping, tons and tons of restaraunts, and is convieniently located next to highways and the train station. another great thing about this place is that it has washer and drier units in every apartment, lots and lots and lots of closet space, and every floor plan available is huge and worth every penny. the management is awesome they help with any question i have and they have so much to offer here as well. you can rent dvds for free from the front office. they have a private movie lounge for those who wish to rent it. i know i have occupied it once or twice with a group of friends to watch a movie or two on the big, well it has to be at least 82 inches, screen. as well as the huge screen it also come with rows and rows of mivie theatre like seats. the gym is very neat and offers a lot with three rooms which include, cardio, strength, and yoga. the pool looks like its should be in some sort of vacationing spot because its huge and so is the hot tub! the best thing about jefferson at salem is how it feels like its own community within salem. you could be out walking around the property and people will actually say hi to you and have a conversation. ok for the cons of this place. it can be noisy. but what apartments are not' most people go straight to the mngr about noise problems the best thing to do in this building is to go to the person you know is making the noise and ask them to quiet down yourself. another con is that there is construction in front of my building going on, which is to make way for a new highway. i dont know how the noise level will be with all of the cars whizzing by. also my biggest complaint of all! packages! if you choose to live here have anything sent to your place of work or somewhere you know you are going to get it. to get a package sent to your apartment is absolutely insane. the ups drivers and the fed ex people half of the time never come to your door they simply drop it in front of you door or mail box and people love to steal them! im serious! thats the only down fall i could really see in this place! all in all jefferson at salem is a nice place to live. its only like 5 years old whenever a problem occured with say a leaky faucet or anything there is a 24 hour crew on standby to fix it and the staff is super helpful. and on top of all of that if you are a lover of restaraunts and shopping and touring salem is only steps away from the apartments and it sure is a wonderful place to live.
