Read several reviews, most of them older reviews. What is the atmosphere at Jefferson now' How's the management' Is there still construction going on' Where there snow plow issues this past winter - plowing the cars in' Is the train noise really bad (plan on keeping windows closed most of the time, using either a/c or heat)'

Looking at a 3rd floor apartment - any advice'

Why would you give this place a YES recommendation if you don't live here? There is a Discussion forum section of this site for questions, please use that for asking questions. Thank you.

Don't do it. The management office will be ridiculously nice to you and cater to you BEFORE you sign your lease. Then they turn very snobby. The property itself is overpriced and the prices are going up every year. I'd recommend it only if you plan on staying for one year.

I lived at the Jefferson Apartments for a year. The building I was in was the one closest to the train station, although my apartment was on the other side of the building. The comments about noise from the trains are exaggerated...in my opinion. Management staff and maintenance people were equally professional and polite (not snobby) both before and after the lease signing. The gym and the pool area are well maintained. The maintenance response time was very good, but the buildings are relatively new, so there weren't any really bad problems. In all honesty, though, I did get plowed in on a couple of occasions, but it was one of the worst winters for snow that many people could remember. Not a bad place at all!
