We relocated to JSS last year, and can't wait to move out! The noise is unbearable, and comes from all directions. Neighbors, the train, and ESPECIALLY the new road to Beverly. If you live in the townhouses or the last building over, be prepared to wake up at 630 am every morning once all the traffic starts driving by, and forget about leaving your windows open in the summer, its just too loud! Construction workers walking by the townhouses peeping in windows as they unessesarily do work outside the apartments at 7AM. The pool is actually nice, but a little too much like bath water, and I don't agree with the last comment about "non potty trained children", since the invention of swimming diapers. The people that go to the pool however, need to watch their mouths with all the children around. There are some really crass and unkempt people around here who need to keep their bad manners to themselves. Parking is ok. Guest spots are harder to find late at night and the management does NOTHING about the cars that aren't supposed to park in them. Since we moved in our heat broke, our toilet seat broke, and our electrical socket fell out of the wall in the kitchen. When you sign their lease they are "pet friendly" but only after charging $500 security for them, and $25/month for each pet. Rumor has it they are going up in rent this year again about $25. I don't know how they are going to convince the people in the townhouses that's ok, with no barrier between them and the noisy new road!

Seriously, you moved into downtown Salem, by the train station, in a spot were construction has existed for ages, and where a road is being built and you're going to complain about the noise. That's a riot!
