our family loved living in those apartments! only reason we moved was because my husband couldn't stick the commute to work in NH anymore! location of Jefferson is brilliant - short walk to all the attractions of Salem and commuter rail to Boston right beside it! our apartment was facing the road but it never bothered me! that's probably personal though cause we were used to living downtown with noisy students passing our windows coming from the pubs and clubs all hours of the night, so this in comparison was heaven! couldn't hear the traffic during the night, which was most important! apartment itself was lovely - really spacious rooms, bathrooms and all that closet space - very homely as well! loved all the amenities like gym, cinema, lovely common room! the management were always really nice, helpful and friendly! they were one of the reasons why we moved in there in the first place! little parties they through now and again for their residents were very enjoyable! we couldn't hear our neighbors either, saying that - we lived on the 4th floor, so there was nobody above us! but never heard our next door neighbors - so we were pretty lucky! over all - we were very happy and if my husband were to work in Boston this would be our first choice of residency!

This reviewer must take prozac...lots of it. How can anyone have a family and say loud drunk students yelling at all hours of the night is "lovable"? Traffic noise IS very loud, although it does quite down after midnight, which is a great time for putting your kids to bed, right? Seriously people, this reviewer has to be management, completely false. For this kind of money you're better off buying a condo.

I'm sorry if you got me wrong! I NEVER said loud, drunk students on the streets were lovable!! In fact i hated it! I said this apartment was great cause there was no such thing happening! My child went to bed at 8 if you're interested! I have to say - the new road wasn't open yet so there might be more noise of the traffic now! And no - I'm not management! everyone's has a right to opinion - and that was our experience, so you can't say it's false!

Last time I was there, the "cinema" room smelled like alcohol and vomit and management was not letting people use it due to problems w/ theft.
