I have been dealing with two particular individuals in the office, (kathyrn and candace) and they thrive on causing HAVOC. They could care less if you take good care of your apt, appliances, pick up after your animal (while others don't) or just in general a good tenant that looks out for the welfare of the community (like putting out fires that tenants start on porches from candles, shoveling snow for the handicap they block in with their snow removal company or better yet reporting to them suspicious characters peeking in windows) They have an answer for everything.
Instead, they find ways to manipulate you and cause chaos to deviate from the real issues. I still don't know who their bosses are, so I may outline to them every issue and take this further. They have harrassed us as well as other tenants, while they commit they same actions everyday.
They required entrance to my apt several times a year. When it is all said and done, they entered my apartment about 6 times this year for routine maintence. Come ON!
Last year they raised my rent so much, it was a battle. This year I am leaving, I have no choice in the matter. We bought a home and are building another, but we couldn't stand to be threatened any further on our own premisis. They forget how much we pay. They also lied, they do accept state funds, section 8. I have asked that question severeal times due to what I have seen, and each time I get a different answer.


When the place first opened, it was nice. But being able to compare it to 3 different management agencies now, this is the far most unprofessional duo in action.

They do accept Section 8, or, at least that's what my husband and I were told when we first moved in and had to deal with a couple down the hall that constantly had people coming and going - frequently announced with slamming doors, loud parties, left their apartment door wide open while watching TVs at high volume, smoked in the halls and left their maggoty trash bags in the hall for 1 weeks. They would use the Section 8 status as an excuse not to do anything or to excuse the couple's behavior.

Hey this sounds exactly like a section 8 couple in my building at the Hawthorne Commons. You forgot the mention the drug dealing as the reason for the people coming and going at all hours.

I agree about the HAVOC part. We recently left Jefferson (thank God) and were charged almost our whole security deposit for a 2" x 2" section of the rug my cat dug up. Question, don't they replace the rugs anyway? What is the pet rent for again?
