Princeton Crossing

I have lived here for two years now. I chose this place because it was inexpensive and I was a recent college grad. I should have spent more somewhere else. I barely have anything positive to say.
1) Management is unresponsive. I complained about my ceiling in my bathroom leaking for three months. Managment sent maintenance to paint my ceiling four times. I then woke up to find that my ceiling was falling down. I was told they would fix it immediately and everyday that I came home from work, it was not done. It took over a week and many phone calls to fix the problem. Customer service is awful. I got no explanation for the delays other than they forgot. If their ceiling was falling down, they wouldn't "forget".
2) Large bugs. Very large bugs appear out of no where.
3) Parking can be difficult because though the lot is only for residents, they do not check the cars parked in the lot. Many nights I get home and there are so many cars that do not have a pass are parked in the lot that I have to go park on the main road.
4) There is a pool but make sure that you have a lease in hand to prove you rent there. I tried going to the pool once and I was not allowed in by the lifegaurd becuase my key wasn't enough proof that I lived in the complex. Its kind of dirty anyway so I don't go there.
5) Laundry rooms are small for the amount of people that use them. Also, I've had clothes stolen.
6) Very thin walls. Maybe that is in all older apartments, but you can hear everything going on next to you and above you.
7) Mail boxes are small so if you are receiving a lot of mail you might want to ask all mail to be brought to the leasing office. I find my mail all bent and folded in my box. I understand that is the USPS fault, but it is something to remember.
8) A good idea is to be around the apartment when management or maintenance is there. They are known to not only leave your doors unlocked when they leave, but I've had my door left completely wide open when maintence left after replacing a light fixture. Nothing was found stolen, but my apartment was riffled through. Management issued no apology when called about it.
I would never recommend Princeton Crossing to anyone.
