LAUNDRY ROOM AND HALLWAYS

I am searching for a new place and came across this cool web site. Thought I can write couple of lines on the place where I am residing presently. First of all I don't have any dispute with the apartment management, nor am I one of those who posted messages before on this web site. While the landlord is doing everything to woo new people and retain current tenants, I don't want to hurt their interest and business. I understand, I have to be considerate to my landlord in my writing. At the same time, I should give my sincere thoughts. Let me try to give my best shot.
I moved here few months ago. I too have been disappointed like many other fellow residents of the apartment community. However, I do have to say that I am really disgusted by couple of things. I wish I had the option of breaking the lease without penalty or lease period is up by now.
The laundry room is so dirty, I cannot just stand it anymore. It is getting worse week after week. I have chosen to drive to laundromat every week. For all practical purposes, the apartment doesn't have a laundry facility. I have learned from other tenants that the laundry rooms in their buildings are also the same.
Second, the hallway has a stinking odor of cigarette smoke or Indian spicy curry. Sometimes I feel suffocated.
In my judgement, apartment doesn't have enough staff to keep it clean or the staff don't do their job properly. Managers don't supervise the facilities periodically. Cleanliness is the last thing that one can see in this place.
Don't like to go on other problems. Already there have been enough messages on those. Thought I can bring less talked ones to the front, which are equally important for healthy living.
Over all recommendation: I know landlord doesn't like to see it. I'll move out of this place as soon as my current lease ends.
