Folks, I live here for the past 8 or so months. I will try to give you a realistic picture rather than a shouting match.
Pluses
(1) The place has great location. Signal at south street makes the access to rt 9 a breeze.
(2) Very friendly staff. They take your packages, they are nice to you, they TRY their best to do right.
(3) decent size ( except bathroom). About a 1000 SQ ft for an average of $1200. That is pretty good value for money.
(4) The zip code (01545) saves you on insurace. compared to worcester.

Now the -- minuses--

(1) Horrbile cleanliness. In the last 8 months they have cleaned the hallways 4 times at best.
(2) Smells smells smells. The lobby stinks.
The kitchen doors open to lobbies hence the food smells. On top of that theere is no cross ventilation in the winters.
(3) Some of the worst tenants you will find. Smoking in the lobbies, leaving trash in the lobby. throwing gum, toothpick, used paper napkins around!
(4) The laundy situation is absymal. One machine per bldg. So even if it is not occupied, it takes you whole day to do your 4 loads. Your best bet is the launderomat near price chopper.
(5) Hard water. But I think this is a problem with Shrewsbury in general!!

So if you are looking for a reasonable place and you are a workoholic who only comes home to crash, this is fine. If you want to enjoy living at house go somewhere else.
