I have to agree with the previous reviews mentioning that the staff are deceptive. I think they should spend less money on marketing and more on improving service and utilities.



One thing that was particularly dissapointing was that my apartment was not ready eventhough they have had more than a month advance notice. Garbage disposal is not on the premises, you have to walk outside the buildings to this compactor in the middle on the property. It is ok now, but I just cannot imagine what it will take when it starts snowing.



I agree also that for the amount of rent payed, the apartments should include dishwashers. In my case, the kitchen is just pathetically small.



Maintenance is SLOW. I find the staff unwilling to do anything beyond the minimally required to make you feel more comfortable.



Eventhough I am also a foreigner, I did find that the smell of Indian food can be overwhelming. It stays out of the apartment though, so its ok.



The perfectly positive reviews on this website are SO unbelievable that I can just imagine they are made up by the Shrewsbury Commons staff, beware!!



I think the advice is too keep looking. The balcony and the location were the selling points for me, but I am not sure they are worth the price.
