Safe, but expensive and noisy

Overall I would say it is a good place to live. I've had a few issues over my time here. The noise level and get a bit loud on occasions. I was placed next to a noisy family that decided to put their children in the room that shared the same wall as my living room. Neighbors above me loud with stereo and TV. I made a number of complaints and had just resolved to live with it.
Laundry has gradually gotten more and more expensive.
Maintenance is excellent, responding very quickly to all issues.
There was a small issue with bugs in my apartment. Maintenance and staff were quick to respond and ended up having entire building sprayed. But having to deal with that I felt a rent increase was not necessary. It does appear to be a very big family community and if you are single and don't want a lot of kids running around you may think of a different place to live.
Staff has been very responsive and polite.
As a side note, during my time here I have seen the facilities and extras be gradually taken away. ie. They removed the free breakfast and coffee during weekdays and weekends. Suddenly you need to pay for guest passes to the pool. And we used to get a monthly newsletter all nicely printed. This could be done Corcoran mgt. nationwide.
Parking not too well lit. Air Conditioners not sufficient for Apartments. Also recommend getting an apartment on upper floor, facing away from parking lot.
