We lived at Shrewsbury Commons for two years. What finally drove us away was the unwarranted price increase (um, $925 for what' Are you installing a dishwasher') and the cooking odors. The Indian food creeps into your apartment and it's awful. There's no need to walk into your building and be physically nauseous. It's just not right. The parking is ample but could do with better lighting from the lot to the door.
The pools don't seem well taken care of, there was a strange green color last year that made me a little nervous.
It's a great location and very convienent but for the amount of money they're charging I would've like a dishwasher, or a bedroom window that closed all the way, or a remodeled bathroom that didn't remind me of the 70s.
Also, our neighbors below us were extremely noisy and we could hear their television through our floor. Indian music videos at 1am are not amusing.
Overall, it's an ok place to live for a little while but I can't imagine staying. The cooking odors and overabundance of ------- alone put it on the "pass it by" list.
