I lived at Avalon Arbor for 6 months during a transition period. I had a second floor unit with a fireplace. I found that for a one bedroom, it had a lot of storage: Huge walk-in closet, shed off the balcony, laundry closet, and coat closet. The A/C acted up during the hottest months, but maintenance came and fixed it right away. I utilized the pool, tennis court & gym quite often and found it to be convenient & safe. Parking was always available just outside my unit where I can see it from the bedroom slider door. The only complaint I had was the upstairs neighbor. They had a small dog that barked constantly!! It was awful, especially during the summer months when they would leave the slider door open, so the dog barked right out the door!! The residents upstairs were also extremely loud - constantly moving furniture or dragging something across the floor!!
Overall, it was a pleasant place to live for the short amount of time I was there. Rent was quite high, but has since dropped due to economy and vacant level. My CD deliveries were stolen a couple of time...but then again, it was just left on top of the mailboxes!!
