I have lived at Avalon Arbor for 1 1/2 years and can't wait for my lease to be up. They have a subsidized living program, so think about the quality of people you will be living with. These people get to pay $300-600 for an apartment that you are paying $1100-1600 for. The police are constantly at the complex. They have hired a security company, but they are only there a couple of hours at night and all they do is sit in their car at the club house. There has been drug raids and even a bust for prostitution.
As for the apartment itself, I have a one bedroom and it is very small and in general a bad layout. There must be about 20 coats of paint on the walls and patchs to the walls stick out like sore thumbs.
I had to find a place real fast since I was relocating from another state. Biggest mistake. I would not recommend Avalon Arbor to anyone.
