I am surprised at the negative comments. I lived here for three years (2000 - 2003 ). I moved to worcester for issues completely unrelated to anything negative at avalon. As soon as I moved I knew it was a mistake. After being away 2 years I just moved back. There is new management so I can't comment on any experiance with them yet but when I was here before it was great. VERY child friendly. As for the prostitution bust someone mentioned - I was here when that happened. It was one person and that person was evicted immediately. The only reason everyone knew about it is because when it was in the courthouse records one of the residents who saw it made copies and put them on everyone doors - which by the way they had no right to do and maintainance staff took them down. Every place has some issue but here it seems that issues are dealt with immediately.
