Donīt Go There !!!! (or at least know what you're getting) From: bigsista Date posted: 6/14/2002 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002   The building itself is ok. Not new or modern, but a good deal for the price. There was a decent amount of space in the apartment - and some units were renovated better than others. The management is THE big problem. They are pretty negligent, which is ok as long as you dont need anything from them. If you pay your rent on time and dont bother them, they wont bother you. Here are the specific problems I had with them: I had a fridge that was too warm and wasnt fixed for about 2 months... *after* the handyman had initially come to inspect it. I couldnt keep any food in it for 2 months! They said that I had a parking spot in the lease, but there is no parking lot at this apartment building. Their response to that was "you can park on the street" They wrote in the lease that they would cover some utilities and later admitted it was a typo. But then they refused to honor what was on the lease and decided that if I didnt like that, Id have to take them to court. The electricity went out during the summer every other week. The wiring must have been really, really old.
