This is an excellent building, and very well-managed. It was a pleasure to live here for four years.

We have a "first floor" apartment, but it has a fenced-in backyard area that is quite spacious (and has the added advantage of actually being a full story off ground level, which helps us feel more secure). The apartment is roomy, with a spacious master bedroom, den, and kitchen, and a good-sized second bedroom (plus two bathrooms!) The complex is very well-maintained. We're particularly strong fans of David, the building manager, who is both very nice and always very responsive to our requests or issues that arise (e.g., a broken door handle or such).
The building feels very secure, with electronic keyfobs required to access the main entrance as well as the garages. Having a garage in Cambridge, by the way, is a wonderful amenity. It's a short walk (10 mins) to the Harvard campuses and 15 mins to Harvard Square. Really had no problems in our four years here, and enjoyed it very much.
And most important for us, the complex is very, very pet-friendly!
