I grew up in Clarendon Hill Towers, long before it was subsidized housing. People thought I lived in a hotel! The management was wonderfull at the time. I lived there for 20 years. Then it went to subsidized housing. All hell broke loose; it became a project. I moved out and never looked back!! I will never live there again! Someone wrote the word "luxury" to describe Clarendon Hill Towers''''' All I have to say is, they don't get out much....

All I can say to the residents of Clarendon Hill Towers is report the damn place to city officials and the housing authority. Report all those that are employed there reported to the proper authorities that don't do their jobs or respect people. When noise level gets too loud, call the police. After 11:00PM; it's a crime to disturb the peace. Driving by these apartments should speak for itself. The place is filthy from the outside. Gangs hanging around. Seems like a very dangerous area. Not fit for a dog let alone humans. Tenants have rights. Even if tenants are subsidized. They are humans who should live like humans. Clarendon Hill Towers is not for humans. No decent human would put up with living in trash or being afraid to walk out their door. Projects are right across the street. Start a petition. Circulate it around Somerville. Get the politicians involved. Get rid of the entire staff. All of you stop complaining and do something about where you live. You have rights. Don't matter if you're rich or poor. You have rights and deserve to be respected. Clarendon Hill Towers needs an overhaul or close it down completely.
