Our apt is okay. The property management company for our apartment has left something to be desired.





We have heard from other tenants that our situation is not unique. Other tenants were told that a roof leak was their problem because it wasn?t happening anywhere else.



The building is okay. Parking is not hard to find. Windows are leaky ? if you complain, imaginary service people come to check them out and find no problems. We have weather-stripping on our windows, and the windows leak so much that the weather-stripping looks like a big plastic sail. We have found electric heat to be very expensive. The floors are by no means sound-proof. We can hear our neighbors easily?day and night.







The rent is reasonable. Watch out for being told things by the property manager that aren?t actually in your contract. For example, when we signed our contract, we were told that there would not be a penalty if we moved out early as long as we gave 30 days notice. We have since heard the ?revised? version which is that it is our responsibility to pay for the apartment until they find another tenant (okay, that?s reasonable, b/c it?s in the contract).



Other than those issues, we enjoy the apartment. Laundry is downstairs. Restaurants and bars are everywhere?and Dunkin Donuts is across the street. On St. Patrick?s day, you have front row seats for the parade...as do the apartments with roof access.
