The person who said that this was a terrible place to live in 1993 may not have been aware of some things, st no fault of their own. IN 1994 the property was sold to Yule Developements. They conmpletely rennovated the apartments. Everyone who was low income no longer lives there, as it is now a high income property with rents of 1000-1700. Anyone with a low credit or criminal record is declined, and good rental history is a must. They also replaced the manager with LuAnn, who is a veteran of management and has turned this place into a home everyone is proud of. If there is a problem with residents, she is quick to solve, and that is why we are no longer Easton Estates, but the luxury townhome community of Easton Crossing.

I once lived in Easton Estates and I was not a low income and was NEVER late on my rent and my family was kicked out so that they could renovate the apartment. Unfortunately they had a plan and they didn't care who's lives they distroyed. All the white families at that time were kicked out, but they used the excuse that the kids were trouble. Although our kids hung out together, black and white, they knew that they could get in much trouble for kicking out the black families. Now don't get me wrong. These were also wonderful families we loved all of them, but the complex had a plan and they didn't care who got in the way. I hope the owners and managers all get what they deserve for doing what they did to so many nice families. I would never rent or buy there ever again. Oh by the way, watch who they hire for security....keep your blinds closed.
