stole from me

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004

I'm a studetn in the area and I lived at this complex for 2 years at first a two bedroom and then a one bedroom.

The 2 bedrooms are worth the money, while the one bedrooms are highly over priced.

Over Christmas break I went to my parents for 2 weeks and got a call from the landlord on my cell saying that they had been trying to reach me at my apartment because it had flooded. They said all of my things were damaged and extensive property damage was done, which i would be responsible for because it was my pipe that burst. They asked when I would be back, and i said 3 days.. and the woman said ok. I went to the apartment with 2 friends and my father to see the damage... there was nothing wrong. they were trying to charge us for damage that was not there. When we confronted them they replied with: "the crew must have cleaned up the obvious mess already"
We know there was no water because the cat food under the sink was not soggy, nor was the rug.

However, after I moved into the one bedroom I signed a lease through the end of February. By early February I had chosen a new apartment and began the moving process. By February 5th most of my things were out. I was going to move my summer clothing and the remainder of my kitchen supplies later. I also had a make up kit of my grandmothers jewelery that I still needed to get. I went back to get the remainder of my things in mid February and the apartment had been cleaned out and prepared for new tenants. The locks were changed and everything I had was gone. Over $5000 worth of items were gone. We're in the process of a legal battle now. But the people are irresponsible, and unprofession. I would not rent from here again.

I can be contacted for more info!

Not a nice place to live unless you can afford constant replacement of your things.
