These apartments are great for families who live and work in the area, as well as students who go to Mnt. Holyoke. However, speaking from experience, this is a LOOONNNGGG drive to UMass! The apartments are nice, well kept up and in a decent location, although far removed (3 miles) from any sort of shopping, entertainment, etc. Very rural locale perfect for walks but not for entertaining guests who have to drive 30 minutes to visit.
Electricity bills get out of control in the winter, however, as heating is all electric and, unless you insolate well yourself, the windows might as well be open - that's how drafty they are. For a 3 bedroom apartment, the average electric bill this winter was $250 a month!!
