I have lived in this complex for a year and am not renewing my lease. If you live on the bottom floor you can hear the people on the top floor banging around. There are a LOT of kids in the area that make a lot of noise, we have had problems this year with vandalism..Our car window was cracked then about 4 months later it was stolen. I think a lot of section 8 people live here I just don't think they are paying what I am. The staff is nice and the maintenance is great it's just the lack of courtsey from the people that live here that make it a bad place for someone who wants a nice safe quiet place to live.
Also what the other lady had stated, there is a no dog rule but I always see a guy walking his little white dog and i'm almost certain it isn't his guide dog. Not consistent with their rules. The children are in the roads and i'm surprised someone hasn't gotten killed with the way people drive through the place!

MA law allows people to skirt the " no dog" rules by filing for a reasonable accomodation. With a note from their doctor stating that they need a dog for companionship or for their "nerves" ( I love that one.) If it is not unreasonable for the management to accomodate their needs they will allow it. It is not worth their time and money to fight it in housing court as they most certainly would lose.

I have a service dog who is a companion animal. I would not be able to live and work productively with my level of hypervigilence and attachment trauma (post-traumatic stress disorder experiences) from childhood trauma and multiple adult losses as a result of growing up with the family disease of alcoholism. Having this animal in my life has at times meant that just for today, suicide was not an option because somebody needed me. I bless you and wish you the same level of well-being that I have been so blessed to enjoy.
