I just signed my first lease renewal and am very happy living at RBV! I am a property manager and therefore have an opinion as both a resident and a manager.
As a resident, I am very happy! The apartment is just the right size for me and my family. We all love the two fullsized bathrooms (no whimpering outside the door waiting) and I love the private laundry room. The staff and maintenance crew is amazing! They are very polite, quick to respond to resident's needs and have very creative ways of staying involved with the residents. Monthly news letters, special events for kids and families including summer bar-b-q's and community tag sales, birthday recognition, and I could go on and on. The pool is also a plus! (although it is a bit small and gets crowded easily on a hot day)
As a property manager I have a special appreciation for the way management runs the property. I know how hard it really is to keep up with the daily routine and flow of running a property and still respond to emergencies and individual needs of residents that walk through the door with issues, complaints or just want to chat. Every time I've walked through that door, I've been met with a friendly smile and a "what can I do for you" approach. And I am not always the easiest resident to deal with! lol
No property can be "perfect" and there will always be areas of dislikes from anyone on any given day. Complaints I've seen on line regarding parking, bugs, other problem residents are minor in comparison to what I've witnessed at other sites. Please..... at leaste there is parking available and we don't have to park accross the street of a busy intersection or pay for it! Bugs.... hellooo... they are seasonal and will come and go. Most properties (this one included) have a preventative maintenance schedule that is effective. However, there is nothing like keeping a clean apartment and putting down some of your own bait traps to help yourself out. As for other residents that are considered a "problem". Most of that is personality clashes. Not to say that there are no problem tenants because every property has them. No matter where you go, they reside there too! It's been my experience that when management is good at their job, the "bad ones" leave on thier own or they eventually self destruct and get evicted! Riverboat is one of the better properties that has gone through rough patches like everyone else.
I would absolutely recommend this property! I wouldn't have signed on for another year if I didn't like it here!

One thing is unclear in this review: you're a property manager, but at THIS location, or some other property?

I do not work where I live. If I did, I'd never get away from my job! lol Bless anyone who can handle that kind of pressure!

I can verify everything that the writer of this review has stated. I am NOT a property manager but I did reside at this location as well. Very quiet and nice area to raise a family. MP : )
