My time here was great.

We have nothing but good memories of our time spent here. Although there is incredible turnover, I always got the impression Rosemeade was looking for short-term renters. The grounds were well maintained. Whenever there was ice, sand was used. Snow was plowed as good as it could directly after a storm, and then was improved while the majority of the tenants were at work. The maintenance staff was top notch. All my requests were handled the first time I requested. I always was notified when they would be doing work, and a note was left on the counter so I knew the work was done. The pool, weight room, tenant office/fax and computer were things you did not have everywhere else. Although I did not use them, I saw alot of other tenants using them. Parking could be a problem during winter and on weekends, but I never had to walk more than 50 - 100 feet. The condition of the apartments are what I would have expected for being older than 15 years. Bottom Line - I looked at Rosemeade before I moved in and I made the decision to move here. They did not force me. I asked what the utilities would cost so I expected to pay the $150.00 a month average. I was not able to see my apartment before hand, but when I moved in, everything was as promised. I don't know why these other people would have moved in if their apartments were so bad. I treated the office staff like humans, and they did the same for me! Although I did hear from other tenants who did complain, they generally were the tenants who complained about everything and blamed everyone else for the problems in their life. The place is quiet and during the day is almost deserted. We could sometimes hear the tenant above us, but these are apartments after all! Neighbors tended to be professionals, and due to the turnover, most were not overly outgoing. Rates did go up, but what else would you expect' I normally went with a shorter lease because thebenefits of longer leases was not great. Use common sense. We liked the place, and almost all the tenants I knew were of the same opinion as me.
