Worst Apt Experience Ever

Please don't believe the newest "reviews". I highly believe they were written by the staff to raise their score. This place was the worst apartment experience we had ever had. The complex's appearance is very deceiving and the staff is nice at first. Until they get you to sign that lease. Then they don't want to hear from you again. Our problems: ants in the warm weather; leaky windows all year round that would soak our carpet (they "fixed" it 4 times before we stopped reporting it, it was insinuated that it was our fault); pipes that froze in the winter (again, we were told that we were at fault, that we didn't keep the apt warm enough, we were negligent tenants, I found out later that many tenants had the same issue and were treated the same way by the staff, I was brought to tears by her strong words, I've never been treated so cruelly, my husband and I are professionals and responsible tenants, and we expected the same professional treatment from our apt complex staff.; We also had mold in the bathrooms that gave me a rash all over my body. My doctor diagnosed it halfway into our lease. After we moved out all my symptoms went away. Maintenance came and scrubbed the walls with bleach but the mold always returned. The problem was a lot more than skin deep. I believe this is just one of their problems, this place looks great on the outside but once you're trapped in a lease things come to the surface. After the manager upset me so much, we were scared to call the office if we had any other problems in the deteriating apt, I was afraid she'd be that nasty to me again. We moved out of there as soon as our one year lease was over. I wouldn't tell an enemy to live here. Beware! Really people, read some of the older reviews, they tell the truth. Oh, in the winter, our largest heating bill was $300, and didn't go below $175 in the winter. And we were still cold.
