I used to live at Morgan Square Apartments which are now managed and own by Armoury Commons. When I first rented the apartment back on 2006 it used to be own and managed by Corcoran Management Company. Then, in the summer of 2007 Corcoran Mmgt sold it to Armoury Commons. The worst change ever!!! They took over and everything changed, from the maintance dept to the office manager everybody was fired and replaced by people from Armoury Commons. The people at office were clueless and the property mangers was rude and mean, she was never available to answer questions there were never any right answers. They use to take a long time to fix anything in the apartment and the maintenance workers looked like they were picked out and hired from the streets. I moved out on 2008 because I bought a house. After 3 months, I received a bill from a collection agency stating that I owe over $500.00. I called the collection agency to find out that Armoury Commons was charging me for the cleaning of the carpets and the apartment and for the painting of the walls which to me every time a tenant moves out of an apartment the carpets either have to be change or clean and the walls have to be painted. I left the apartment clean and in mint condition. When I moved in the apartment the walls were freshly painted and the carpet was clean but not new. I had rented before and people I know have never been charged for things that have to be done by the building before the apartment is rented out to somebody else. I mean, I understand that I could get charge if the walls and carpet were severely damage but, if everything was left almost the same way as it was when I moved in, it is OUTRAGEOUS!!! I have tried to contact them at the office but of course, nobody has returned my calls. I am so disappointed I actually enjoyed living there for the first year but when the building was sold it was a nightmare. I will never recommend Armoury Commons to anybody they are the worst management company I have ever known.
