I live in the Lyman Street building, and I have to agree with you 100%. I moved in 2004 when Dawn and Laurie were here. No, they weren't perfect managers, sometimes you had to follow up a little more, but once they sold the building... eck! I loved your comment about the trailer parking. At least she doesn't have to pay the $75 a month, right? :)
I personally have never had a problem with the new managers, just the caliber of tenants they rent to. I know what I had to provide to get an apartment here, I can't imagine the guy across the hall from me who punched a hole in the wall and then was arrested after EVERYONE called the cops could possibly provide a stupendous record of employment.
For these reasons, I am moving out very soon. I have had it with douchebag neighbors with surround sound stereos in a 700 square foot apartment.
Man, does anyone remember the old maintenance guys? Tingo got me a brand new A/C and fixed my fridge mere HOURS after I put the request in. He was the best. The new 'maintenance' guys pretty much just sort of empty the trash and poorly paint the halls. The whole building looks trashy now.
