Ok with the negatives first:
My first week in the complex I had to lay the smackdown and put the kabosh on people stealing my parking spot. Also, the security guard was just letting people through without calling me first. I complained to the mangement about this, and all seems to be sorted at present. I rec. an immediate response. I am not upset about it,

Also, there is a policy that if you have an overnight guest, you have to give them the guest name, Vech make, year. I didn't even have to do this at my Mom's house when I lived there! If it is in regards to safety, I don't mind though. I think it is fair.

Security was letting my guests through the gate without calling me first to check to see if it was ok. Called Edie and she said it was sorted.

Good luck finding a guest space as security and other residents claim they keep getting given away like candy. Last I saw, there were 2 guest spaces for our 2 buildings on our end. When the new Age 55 apartment complex is finished (March 2005), I am sure we will lose those entirely.

I do agree with the other posters about the thin walls and ceilings, but that is apartment living as one of my neighbors said. You take it for what it is. I try to be very gentle and wear slippers in my apartment as I am on the 3rd floor.

I like being on the 3rd floor as there is more privacy and everyone is nice in the complex.

Heat and HW was included in my rent.
No pets allowed.

Most residents are 40

The complex pretty much rolls up the streets by 10pm.

New appliances (In my unit).

All units must have white curtains or blinds as a rule of the complex.

No laundry or gym after 10pm.

Great location right off of 93..I don't get the 93 noise thing though.

Dumpsters are close by and offer recycling capabilities.

The complex is clean and the plowing is SPOT ON!

Security cameras in every building and manned gate, foot patrols.
