Pretty Quiet, Well Kept Units - Party Hounds Need Not Apply

Mostly owner-occupied, very few rental units. Most units have 1 deeded parking spot; a few have 2 deeded spots.
Overall, a clean, 4-story complex, NOT converted from apartments to condos so therefore, better constructed to minimize surrounding noise from other units.
Two cats per unit allowance, no dogs allowed and only electric BBQ grills.
Main drawbacks are visitor parking is limited, no in-unit laundry and only 2 washers/dryers in first floor laundry facility. Another issue is improperly installed balcony sliders-there's a chance of outside frames losing ability to hold the glass properly.
The only other drawbacks I can think of are that there is a 1.5 acre property in the rear of the building that runs the length of the parking lot and the owners LOVE to run their lawnmowers and weedwackers 24/7 (hence the nickname "The Lawn ----), a major annoyance for rear-facing tenants, there are several auto repair businesses on the right side of the building that are open 6 days a week, another annoyance with their loud air tools, and another trailer trash neighbor off the left side of the back parking lot that continually leaves her poor dog out to bark his lonely head off.
One last thing, if you don't mind ultra-nosy condo association Board members, you should be ok here.

Spot on! Decent place to live, but reminds me of an elderly complex! Interiors are a tad bit dilapitated despite recent paint and new industrial carpet. Complex has been thru several management firms in the last few years, each costing more than the last. Condo fees are being raised every year, such a drag, not even sure why as there doesn't seem to anything extra included....

I agree with the review. It helps to know what your neighbors are like! There is a very good management firm in place now for a couple of years...these folks are hard to find and many do not wish to take on a "small complex". As to fees rising...it's called cost of living. All our expenses are rising. Biggest issues are insurance, as usual, and the elevator. Plus all services companies are going up - landscaping maintenance, snow plowing, cleaning companies (current one is very good compared to past), electric, sewer/water, garbage collection, etc. Still a relatively modest fee for a small complex.

UPDATE on the tenants!
Too horrifying for words! Formerly "quiet" tenant(s) have turned this complex into a TRAILER PARK! Loud screaming and doors slamming mostly late at night whilst the rest of us try to sleep. FOUL language and verbal abuse going on down there! Buyers/renters BEWARE!

Hehehe, looks like that tenant got his arse booted by foreclosure--how hysterically funny is THAT!! Wait, does that mean my condo fee will go up even MORE?????
However, what's NOT funny, is the friggin' condo fees have gone up yet AGAIN! It's out of control! Maybe they're going to put a pool in or something and they're just trying to get a headstart, or maybe they're going to change the lightbulbs in the entryway to ones that work---either way, I'm ANNOYED!
